20+ years of natural skincare- Candy began as a mom on a mission when her son was born with severe eczema. In 2009, GSL Organics was officially formed.
Candy Pack, the owner & operator of GSL, makes all of her products by hand. Lotion, soap, candles, moisturizer, serums, and more!
You’ll be unsurprised to hear that this was a Southern Lancaster Chamber connection!!! Candy is sweet, welcoming, and of course, incredibly knowledgeable about her craft. Candy makes all of her products at her home in Southern Lancaster County, PA. We wanted to showcase this, so Candy had ingredients ready to go upon my arrival.
Each branding session is unique. For a business like GSL, we had planned ahead what was feasible to make/show in front of the camera. She knew she’d be making candles, soap, moisturizer, lotion, and serum.
Mixing, pouring, labeling, packing- we shot it all!
Candy is all about catering to your skincare needs- she offers consults to discuss what you’re looking for! To show this, we recruited a friend to capture this part of the process.
Candy put her photos to use immediately! She added them to her site and began using them on her social media to advertise her consults and products! A few were even used in an article written on GSL, which you can find here! Other great uses: reviews, thank you cards, brochures, Google Business Profile, etc.
We also wanted to capture a bit of her personal life- Angel & Lulu, her pet pigs! Fun fact: Candy & her husband, Freddie, also own an Airbnb in Quarryville, PA! Visit Pack House Cottage and you can meet the pigs!
And we wrapped up with the packing process & headshots! Candy was also kind enough to look at my skin and recommend some of her products, and a simple daily routine. Happy to report I’m still using said routine!
