Dana wins the award for being in front of my camera the most! Because I’ve known her for so long (almost 20 years!), she’s been my model allllll throughout my photography journey.
She moved to Kansas last September, so of course we planned a trip for me to come visit. One factor to consider was her maternity session! I recommend clients book a maternity session around 7 or 8 months. We want to showcase the baby bump, but we don’t want it too close to the due date either!
This also meant Dana had to do the location scouting for me! She found the perfect spot on a trail. Any guesses on how long the walk was to this exact spot?
1 mile, which wasn’t a problem at all, but that is the farthest I’ve walked for a photo session! Not including sessions in Lancaster City, which I haven’t tracked the distance for lol.
We also got some adorable photos on Dana’s Polaroid camera! I fully meant to bring my film camera too, but I left it in the car, sigh.
Congratulations on your baby girl!
